You don't need to be a wine connoisseur to enjoy this day. Many of our guests simply love good wine, good food, and the special atmosphere of a small winery. Others want to know much more about what happens in the vineyard and the cellar. Both are possible here – you decide how deeply you want to delve.
It is precisely this mix that makes the excursion interesting for a wide variety of guests. Besides gourmets and wine lovers, we have already accompanied winemakers, international wine merchants, and sommeliers on this trip.
With the winemaker, you can discuss Canarian grape varieties, soils, cultivation methods, vinification, and the unique conditions of winemaking on Gran Canaria – or you can simply soak it all in and enjoy the day. As your German-speaking guide, I will personally accompany you and translate even the most technically demanding conversations, ensuring that no interesting details are missed.

Your visit takes you to a small, family-run winery that is part of Gran Canaria Wine Route heard.
The bodega is not a publicly accessible tasting establishment; during our private tour, the winemaking family's time is reserved exclusively for you. This creates a personal and relaxed atmosphere from the very beginning, where there is no need to follow a fixed tourist itinerary.
Even the walk through the vineyard is part of the experience. We ride up the slope between the vines in a small railcar – for many guests a little adventure with a magnificent view over the landscape.
You will learn about different Canarian grape varieties and see what else grows on the finca besides wine.
The family cultivates their own coffee, oranges, and tangerines, as well as olives, papayas, avocados, and other fruits for their own consumption. The vineyard and farmland are managed according to organic principles.
Next, we'll go to where the grapes are transformed into wine. In the wine cellar, you'll learn how the individual wines are produced and matured.
Depending on the season and stage of ripening, we can even taste them directly from stainless steel tanks or from French and American oak barriques.
This way you not only experience the finished wine, but with a bit of luck you can taste how it develops during maturation.
After that, things get more relaxed. For the actual wine tasting, we'll take our seats on the idyllic terrace in the family's private garden. The wines will be personally presented to you, and of course, there will be plenty of time to taste, ask questions, and enjoy.
The range includes dry and semi-dry white wines, full-bodied red wines, and – depending on availability – also sweet rosé. The winery produces both single-varietal wines and traditional Canarian wines. Vidueños, i.e., regionally typical field mixtures of various Canarian grape varieties.
The quality isn't just evident in the taste. The wines have received numerous awards, including first place in Gran Canaria and ratings as high as 95 points. Despite this, these wines are difficult to find on the island. They are offered directly at the winery, in a single wine shop in the north, in a select Canarian restaurant in the mountains, and at regional wine events.
The small winery sells out completely every year and does not have to produce large quantities for hotels and restaurants, nor does it have to live off wine tourism.
Those who wish to take the wines home after the tasting can of course buy them directly here – without sales pressure and without this becoming the actual purpose of the visit.
And good wine goes hand in hand with good food on this day. Felisa, the winemaker's wife, will prepare typical Canarian specialties for you – fresh, homemade, and some even using ingredients from their own garden.
Depending on the season and selection, this includes, for example, Canarian cheese, our own organic olives, homemade bread and other regional delicacies.
The wine tasting isn't limited to just a few small tasting glasses. You'll enjoy the wines at your leisure, perfectly paired with the food, and can even have another glass of your favorites. Afterwards, we'll also sample the homemade liqueurs and, of course, the mild Canarian coffee, grown right here on the finca.
There's no need to rush. We sit together, chat, enjoy ourselves, and give our guests all the time they need. There are no group bookings and no sales pitches dictating the pace. For many guests, this relaxed atmosphere is ultimately just as important as the excellent wines themselves.

As this is a private wine tour, the price depends on the number of participants. All services included in this private excursion are already included in the price.

Discounts and payment:
👶 Children up to 6 years old go free
Children aged 6-11 receive a discount of 80%. Example: For 3 people (2 adults + 1 child aged 6-11), the price per adult is €130 according to the table. The child discount of 80% is applied to the adult price, so the child only pays €26. (Discount: €130 - 80% = €26) Total price: €130 + €130 + €26 = €286
🧑🎓 Young people aged 12 to 18 receive a 70% discount.
- 🔞 We do not serve alcohol to minors (under the age of 18).
- 💰 Payment: You can easily and conveniently pay in cash on the go (in addition to Euros, all common currencies are accepted at the current exchange rate) or in advance via bank transfer.
- ❌ Cancellation: Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the excursion. For cancellations up to 24 hours in advance, we charge a flat fee of €50. If you cancel while we are already en route, we will have to charge you a flat fee of €100.

Booking and procedure
- 🗓️ Private wine tours are available year-round. Since we personally coordinate the visit with the small family winery, we arrange a date individually for your group.
- 🕙 Pick-up time and duration don't have to fit into a rigid schedule either. A typical pick-up is between 9:00 and 10:00 am, with a return in the afternoon or early evening – depending on how your day unfolds.
- 🧭 We will accompany you as your guide throughout the entire excursion. personal tour guide in German or English. This allows us to respond to your questions, requests, or spontaneous changes even while we're on the go.
Island-wide pickup
- 📍 We will pick you up directly from your hotel, holiday accommodation, or an agreed meeting point for your private wine tour on Gran Canaria. This applies island-wide, for example to Maspalomas, Meloneras, Playa del Inglés, San Agustín, Puerto Rico, Puerto de Mogán, Arguineguín, Bahía Feliz, Amadores, as well as to locations in the island's interior and north such as Fataga, Tejeda, Teror, Gáldar, Arucas, Las Palmas, or Agaete.

- 🚗 You will travel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle with ample space and USB charging ports. Drinking water is, of course, provided on board. Suitable, EU-approved child seats are available for children.
- 🌈 We are a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. We and all our partners are gay-friendly – queer welcome! We want you to feel comfortable and accepted throughout the day.
- 🔒 If particular privacy or discretion is important to you, we will coordinate the arrangements accordingly. This naturally also applies to guests who are public figures.
Important instructions
- ♿ Mobility: Unfortunately, this excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the local conditions. Accessibility with a walker or forearm crutches is also very limited. If your mobility is restricted, please contact us – we can arrange an alternative private wine tasting excursion that better suits your needs. Visual impairment, however, is generally not a problem; many aspects of this excursion can be experienced through smell, taste, touch, and conversation.
- ☀️ Please remember sun protection, especially sunscreen, sunglasses, and appropriate clothing. If it is significantly cooler in the mountains on the planned day, we will inform you beforehand. In the rare event of rain, we have umbrellas in the vehicle.
