We are Denis and Melanie Schimmeyer, the couple behind the personalised excursions and wine tours on Gran Canaria.
Denis Schimmeyer

Denis Schimmeyer I originally come from northern Germany, where I was born in 1978, grew up in a rural area and led a varied life. After years of pedagogical work in various social areas (such as addiction counselling), I switched to industry. I spent the last few years working in Germany (primarily with administrative tasks) in a car recycling company.
In addition to historical technology, nature, culture and people, as well as cuisine, my personal interest has always been travelling. Since I was a child, I have seen a lot of the world and regularly travelled to the Canary Islands. Gran Canaria in particular has grown close to my heart.
For me, Gran Canaria combines the advantages and beauty of all the Canary Islands.
After my wife Melanie and I spent more and more of the year on this island, we decided to stay here for good.
We live here on the edge of a small village, almost in the centre of the island, at an altitude of around 900m in a small house with a garden. We feel very comfortable here and have a very pleasant and friendly neighbourhood and friends.

Melanie Schimmeyer I was also born and raised in northern Germany in 1978. I started my professional career as an orthopaedic technician, a job that I would not want to do without here either, which is why I run an orthopaedic workshop in Las Palmas.
Since my youth, I have been committed to people and the environment both professionally and privately (just like my husband). Alongside nature and health, travelling has always been one of my main interests.
In addition to my work, I support Denis (depending on time and possibility) on excursions and events, especially weddings and special occasions.
In our free time, we like to enjoy the varied nature of the island and spend time with our local friends.
Our shared love of the island and its people inspires us time and again to create unforgettable and authentic experiences for our guests.
I am also always happy to be there for our guests.
What concerns us here together:
Our love of the Canary Islands, the people and nature gave us the idea of offering an alternative to the various tourist attractions.
With our excursions and events, we aim to create customer-orientated and high-quality offers that are unforgettable and bring the unique island in all its diversity closer to our different guests in a personal atmosphere - just as it is and just as the people here live.
That is why we have been training in this area since 2014 and are constantly working on it.
